Cameron is the Managing Director of Benim Capital. He is an entrepreneur and investor with over seven years of experience in transaction advisory, venture capital, and real estate investing. An investor in both venture and real estate, he has backed nine early-stage companies and invested at both the GP and LP level in multi-family, senior-living, medical-office, and retail assets. He is actively involved as an advisor at ThermaGEL Innovations.

Outside of venture, Cameron does charitable work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where he was a 2023 'Man of the Year' candidate. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Finance.


When he’s not working, Cameron enjoys snow skiing, running, and golfing.

Michael Zhu is an Associate at Benim Capital. He is an investor and corporate finance professional with over six years of experience across investment banking, private equity and real estate.

Michael previously worked as a private equity investor at Trilantic North America, a middle market private equity fund with ~$11 Billion Assets Under Management. At Trilantic, he evaluated investments and partnered with companies within the business services and consumer sectors. Prior to Trilantic, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Wells Fargo in the Industrials investment Banking Group. As a real estate investor, Michael has invested across the residential, multi-family, office and industrial asset classes, both as a Limited Partner and General Partner.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys escaping to the mountains, travelling, scuba diving, skiing and playing guitar. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he earned a B.S. in Finance.
